We Thank God for You, Jubilee
In the last two weeks, we have looked back on our good Father’s faithfulness and look forward in anticipation for more of his goodness to us. Lord willing, and by his faithful supply of grace, we will glorify, grow, and go together for the next decade. We have many reasons to extend thanks after thanks for the good our Father has done for us. We would be remiss to not shout from the rooftops how thankful we are to our Father for you! Of all of the grace gifts poured out on Jubilee, you occupy a particular reason to praise God. Paul’s opening to the Philippians rings all the more true during our tenth anniversary. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now (Phil 1:3–5). Thanks be to God for all of the countless ways you have sacrificially served the body of Jubilee. Your labor for the church of Christ is not in vain. Paul transitioned from his thanksgiving to a confident expectation that we share for you, our dear brothers and sisters. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6).
