JCC is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for every child and youth who enters our doors. This training will equip us all to better understand the realities of child abuse within the church, explain the policies JCC has enacted to reduce the risk of mistreatment in our context, and unpack how to respond in troubling situations. The training will be offered multiple times in January and February (click here for specific dates and times) and is required for all children’s and youth ministry volunteers, security team members, staff, elders, deacons, and MLG leaders.
