Jubilee Community Church

Visitor’s Guide

Welcome to Jubilee Community Church

The Jubilee family seeks to welcome all who come to worship our great God and learn of him from his Word.  A number of us join for prayer at 8:00 am before the service (please enter through the side door).  Our Sunday service begins at 10am. If you arrive 15 minutes before the service time, you will be greeted by a host of others milling around the commons area in the basement … drinking coffee … munching on donuts … and simply catching up from the week. It is a great time for you to find a bit of a welcome.

Our service starts at 10am, you will hear someone calling us together. Come on in … find a seat next to someone.

Getting Connected

potluckJoining us for worship is a great step towards connecting with the body at Jubilee.  However, we have many other opportunities throughout the week to connect on a more personal level.  We have Missional Life Groups that meet regularly for times in the word and prayer as well as a Monday evening prayer meeting.

We are not a formal bunch, but we see ourselves as a family. We want to welcome you and begin the process of getting to know you.

The Jubilee nursery serves children up to the age of 4.  We have one nursery for older children and one for younger children.  Please sign up in the foyer before the service.  We also have a mother’s quiet room up in the balcony; nursing mothers are encouraged to take advantage of this space.  Read more →

Our Vision

The vision of Jubilee is unique. The neighborhoods of Philips and Powderhorn Park are also unique. We are seeking to blend together in partnership the resources of many people and some existing ministries to accomplish the end of seeing a vibrant church reaching out with the hope of Christ and bringing about change in this challenging environment.  Read more
